| On September 29, 2001 two of my students and I played our scholar's prize. Prize playing was the means used by the Corporation of the London Master's of Defense to test and promote their students in the Tudor and Elizabethan eras. After academic testing, Tim Frayser, Jacob LaPlante, and I faced seven challengers each at three fights per challenger. All three of us successfully completed the day's challenge, and promoted to the rank of scholar. Here are the pictures. |
